- arugula
- beans: standard and French green beans, a purple-podded variety, and yellow wax beans
- lima beans

- bok choi - 2 varieties: one smaller, green-stemmed variety and one taller variety with white stems and dark green leaves
- broccoli
- cabbage: red, green, savoy and chinese or napa varieties
- carrots

- cucumbers: two varieties: long, slender slicing cucumber and a smaller, pickling variety
- eggplant: three Italian varieties: classic dark purple, striped white and purple, and white -- two Oriental varieties: one a long, slender, dark purple, and the other a more lavender color
- flowers: daisies, bachelor's buttons, snap dragons, zinnias, black-eyed susan, sunflowers, etc.
- herbs: basil, chives, garlic chives, cilantro, dill, marjoram, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, thyme
- kale: winterbor (ruffled green), red russian (purple-tinged, flat-leaved), nero di toscano (dark green, crinkled, narrow leaf)
